Assam Orunodoi 3.0 List: Orunodoi 3.0 is one of the biggest social welfare schemes in Assam. The scheme, also known as Orunodoi, provides direct financial support to poor families, with women as the main beneficiaries. This third version of the scheme is bringing more coverage, new benefits like LPG subsidy, and strong integration with other government programs.
Assam government will officially launch Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme on 17 September 2025, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday during Seva Saptah from 17th to 23rd September. On the same day, the state government will deposit ₹382 crore directly into bank accounts of Orunodoi 3.0 beneficiaries. Ahead of the launch, distribution of forms and entitlement letters has already started in all districts of the state.

Assam Orunodoi 3.0 list will now cover 37.2 lakh families, up from about 24 lakh earlier. The monthly amount has also been raised to ₹1,250, and each eligible household will also get a ₹250 subsidy on LPG cylinders. The scheme directly helps women manage household essentials like food, nutrition, medicine, and utilities.
The state has set aside a huge budget of ₹5,604 crore for 2025-26 to run Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme, showing the importance of social security and women’s empowerment in Assam’s development plan.
