How to Check FPS List on IMPDS.NIC.IN
Alternatively, you can directly visit the official website of Integrated Management of Public Distribution System (IMPDS) under the NFSA to check the list of ration shops in your district / block. Below is the complete process.
STEP 1: Go to the sale section of the official website of impds.nic.in.
STEP 2: Click on the "Search Fair Price Shops" option on the homepage.
STEP 3: Select your state, district and tehsil name and then click "SUBMIT" button.
STEP 4: After clicking the submit button, you will see the list of all fair price shops in your selected tehsil with village names, as shown below.
STEP 5: The list can be very long and if you want to find the name of FPS or location, then use CTRL+F in your keyboard or "Find in Page" feature in your mobile browser, then type name of your village. Your village name will highlight in the list where you can see all the details of the FPS in your village.
Fair Price Shop (FPS) List - Summary
As per the latest data on the official IMPDS and NFSA portal, there are a total of 5,34,553 Fair Price Shops (FPSs) across India. Out of these, 8,433 FPSs are managed under Panchayat, 82,634 by Co-operative Societies, 26,333 by Self-Help Groups, 2,96,040 by Individuals, and 90,666 are classified as Other FPSs. Among all these FPSs, 2,26,852 are GIS mapped, helping ensure transparency and accurate location data. Additionally, 4,88,832 ePOS devices have been supplied to FPSs nationwide, with 3,44,002 ePOS devices reported active as of 29-May-2025. These efforts are part of the government's ongoing initiatives to modernize the Public Distribution System (PDS) and make ration distribution more efficient and accessible for beneficiaries.
