Haryana Natural Farming Scheme is a government initiative launched in 2022 to support and encourage farmers to shift from chemical-based agriculture to natural and organic methods. Major Announcements in June 2025

New Mandis for Natural Produce:

Under the Haryana Natural Farming Scheme, two new mandi’s 1. Gurugram mandi (grains/pulses) and 2. Hisar mandi (fruits/vegetables) will be equipped to sell natural and organic farm produce.

Fair Price Committee:

The is a committee set up under Haryana Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran will decide fair pricing for natural produce.

Financial Incentives:

The state government of Haryana will provide ₹20,000 per farmer for branding and packaging, ₹3,000 for drums, and ₹30,000 subsidy for purchasing a desi cow under the Haryana Natural Farming Scheme. As of June 2025, ₹1.23 crore has already been disbursed for cows and ₹75 lakh for drums.

Land for Natural Farming:

53 acres in Kaithal to be leased to natural farmers. In every panchayat, 10% or at least 1 acre reserved for landless natural farmers via auction.

Free Quality Testing Labs:

Dedicated labs has been established for free testing of natural and organic produce for farmers.

Extensive Training & Awareness:

Seminars, workshops, state-level fairs, and 4 training centers for capacity building. Over 35,000 farmers have been trained so far.
