Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Landholding-Based Eligibility:
Up to 2.5 acres: Eligible for a 3 HP solar pump.
2.51 to 5 acres: Eligible for a 5 HP solar pump.
Above 5 acres: Eligible for a 7.5 HP solar pump.
Water Source Requirements:
Farmers must have access to wells, borewells, ponds, or perennial rivers/streams.
Pumps cannot be used to extract water from reservoirs built for water conservation purposes.
Exclusions:
Farmers who have benefited under Atal Saur Krushi Pump Yojana-1, Atal Saur Krushi Pump Yojana-2, or Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Pump Yojana are not eligible.
