Odisha government has announced the latest Odisha laptop DBT scheme list 2025 for meritorious students who have passed their 12th (Higher Secondary) examination in 2025. Online applications for Odisha laptop scheme have already started from 1st July 2025 on the scholarships Odisha portal. The last date of online application under the scheme is 21 July 2025. Under the Godavarish Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana (Laptop DBT), selected students are eligible for a direct benefit transfer (DBT) of ₹30,000 to purchase a laptop and boost their digital education. The Odisha Higher Education Department publishes the district-wise selection/merit list every year. Follow these steps to download the Laptop DBT District Wise List PDF for your district:
Step 1: Visit the official DHE Odisha website: dhe.odisha.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, go to Schemes & Scholarship > Laptop Distribution > List of Students or directly click here or to download stream wise PDF, click this link.

Step 3: Select your Laptop Distribution Category from the dropdown and click “Apply“. Click on “View” link in front of your district name inside the stream columns (Science, Arts, Commerce, Vocational, Sanskrit) from the table.


Step 4: Download the PDF merit list for your district. You can also use the search bar after opening the PDF file to find your name or roll number.
Note: The list contains important details such as candidate name, roll number, father’s name, stream, college name, block, district, and category.
The list for 2025 laptop DBT scheme has not been released yet by the Odisha govt., however, it may be published soon on dhe.odisha.gov.in and you can use the above given links to download the complete list.
Eligibility Criteria for Odisha Laptop DBT Scheme List 2025
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
- Must have passed the Annual Higher Secondary Examination (CHSE Odisha) or Vocational/Upashastri in 2025.
- Name should be in the official merit list published on dhe.odisha.gov.in.
- No specific income limit – all meritorious students listed are eligible.
- Must have an Aadhaar card and Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
- Bank account must be Aadhaar-seeded (NPCI mapped) for DBT transfer.
Eligible Streams/Courses: Science, Arts, Commerce, Vocational, Sanskrit, Plus 3, B.Tech, BBA, BCA, Medical, Law, Management, and many other professional and diploma courses as listed in the official notification.

What is Odisha Laptop DBT Scheme
Godavarish Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana (Laptop DBT) is a flagship scheme of the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha. This scheme aims to digitally empower students who have excelled in the Class 12 (CHSE Odisha) or Vocational/Upashastri Examination. Unlike earlier years where laptops were distributed physically, since 2021, eligible students now receive ₹30,000 directly into their Aadhaar-seeded bank account through DBT, enabling them to purchase a laptop of their choice. The scheme covers over 15,000 meritorious students from all streams (Science, Arts, Commerce, Vocational, Sanskrit) every year.
