In 2025-26, 5,000 youth will be selected under the scheme. A Task Force Committee headed by the Development Commissioner (with industry representatives from CII, FICCI, etc.) will oversee the process and approvals. One lakh youth will benefit in the next five years (2026-27 to 2030).
Payment Process
Internship stipend and allowances are transferred directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts. Interns working away from their home district or outside Bihar will receive the additional allowance for a maximum of three months.
